Crowns

Crowns are custom-made restorations that cover the prepared natural tooth completely. They protect and stabilise the tooth while reproducing a lifelike appearance. Crowns are frequently used on root-treated, extensively decayed or damaged teeth.

Aesthetic ceramic bridges

Dental bridges can replace missing teeth and can also transform the appearance of existing teeth. Their quality is supported by the expertise of our master dental technicians and premium materials.

Teeth whitening

Professional whitening offers a fast, visible improvement in tooth shade. Smoking and regular consumption of coffee or red wine can contribute to discolouration. Whitening treatment breaks down pigments accumulated within the teeth, creating a fresher and brighter smile.

How does teeth whitening work?

Before whitening, we check that the teeth and gums are healthy and free from untreated decay or inflammation. Professional cleaning removes plaque and calculus and polishes the tooth surfaces; this step alone can often make the teeth appear brighter.

In-clinic whitening takes approximately 60 minutes and uses a professional whitening gel. Alternatively, custom-made trays allow treatment to be completed at home. In-clinic treatment provides an immediate result, while home whitening achieves a gradual change over approximately two weeks and gives the patient greater control over the final shade.

How Does Teeth Whitening Work?

Before whitening, we carry out a detailed assessment to determine the condition of your teeth and gums and to identify the most suitable whitening method for you.

1 Assessment and Professional Dental Cleaning

We first check that your teeth and gums are healthy. Any untreated tooth decay, gingivitis or periodontal disease must be treated before whitening can begin.

The treatment is preceded by professional dental cleaning. Plaque and calculus are removed and the tooth surfaces are polished. Removing external discolouration can already make the teeth appear noticeably brighter.

2 In Clinic Teeth Whitening

During in-clinic whitening, a professional whitening gel is applied under controlled conditions. The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes and usually produces a visible result after a single appointment.

Its main advantage is that it is fast and is performed under professional supervision.

3 Home Teeth Whitening with Custom Trays

For home whitening, we produce custom-made trays and provide the appropriate whitening gel. You use the trays at home in accordance with the dentist’s instructions.

The teeth become gradually lighter over approximately two weeks, allowing greater control over the final shade.

Which Teeth Whitening Method Should I Choose?

Both methods can be effective. The most appropriate option depends on the condition of your teeth, the type and extent of discolouration, your individual preferences and the result you would like to achieve.

It is important to note that whitening changes the shade of natural teeth only. Crowns, bridges, veneers and existing restorations do not become lighter, so careful treatment planning is essential.

Aesthetic ceramic veneers

Veneers are very thin ceramic shells bonded to the visible surface of the teeth. They can restore damaged or chipped teeth and, when used on several teeth, transform an entire smile. Veneers can change shade, shape and size and correct certain minor alignment irregularities. Compared with crowns, only a minimal layer of enamel usually needs to be removed.

How are ceramic veneers made?

We begin by discussing your goals and preparing a treatment plan. After approval, a minimal amount of tooth structure is removed from the front surface so the veneers sit smoothly and naturally. Impressions are taken and the final veneers are produced in approximately five to eight working days. Temporary veneers protect the teeth during this period. The final veneers are bonded in place and any necessary minor adjustments are completed.

1 Personalised Smile Design

Digital intraoral scanners and a facial scanner allow us to assess the teeth and face together. This helps us design a harmonious, natural-looking smile that suits your individual features.

2 Minimal Tooth Preparation

Where preparation is necessary, only the minimum amount of tooth tissue required to create the correct veneer thickness and contour is removed from the front surface of the tooth. The exact amount is determined individually.

3 Digital Scanning and Veneer Production

A digital scan is taken and sent to the dental laboratory. Digital technology supports precise, predictable production. The final veneers are usually completed within five to eight working days. Temporary veneers can be provided where necessary during this period.

4 Try In and Final Bonding

At the try-in appointment, we check the fit, shape, shade, bite and overall harmony of the veneers. Minor adjustments can be made if required. The veneers are then bonded permanently with a special dental cement. Our aim is a natural, precise and harmonious result.

Laboratory-made inlays and onlays

Large cavities or fractures in premolar and molar teeth cannot always be restored reliably with a conventional filling. In these cases, a laboratory-made inlay or onlay may be recommended. The dentist prepares the cavity and takes an impression, while a dental technician creates the restoration from strong pressed ceramic or dental composite.

How are inlays and onlays made?

Treatment is performed under local anaesthesia. The damaged or decayed tissue is removed and the cavity is shaped precisely. An impression is sent to the dental technician, who produces a restoration matched to the tooth in both shape and shade. It is bonded into the tooth a few days later, restoring its function and natural appearance.

Inlay or Onlay

An inlay is positioned within the cusps of the tooth. An onlay covers one or more cusps either partly or completely. The appropriate type depends on the condition of the tooth, the amount of missing tooth structure and the forces acting on it.

Modern digital technology makes it possible to create a precise, natural-looking restoration that blends harmoniously with the surrounding tooth structure.

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost of dental treatment depends on each patient’s individual needs, the procedures required and the materials selected. For crowns and bridges, the price is influenced by factors such as the type and material of the restoration, while the cost of inlays and onlays also depends on their size, material and the condition of the tooth.

The price of teeth whitening primarily depends on the treatment method chosen, whether you opt for in-clinic whitening or personalised home whitening.

During your first consultation, we assess the condition of your teeth and gums, discuss your goals and treatment options, and prepare a personalised treatment plan and detailed quotation.

Below you can find the current prices for crowns, bridges, teeth whitening and laboratory-made dental inlays.
