3. Enquiries and communication

Personal data submitted through the “Request a callback” and “How can we help?” functions, or provided by telephone, is processed for the purposes of responding to enquiries and arranging appointments.

Legal basis: the patient’s consent. Data processed: name and telephone number. Retention period: until consent is withdrawn. Without this information, we cannot respond to the enquiry or arrange an appointment.

4. Appointment reminders

The company may send reminders about agreed appointments by email or SMS.

5. Provision of healthcare services

Presidentist Fogászati Kft. provides comprehensive outpatient dental care. This may include examinations, treatment, prescriptions, maintaining the required medical records and completing statutory reporting.

Legal basis: performance of the healthcare services contract. Data processed: identification data, contact details and health data.

Retention periods:

• medical documentation: at least 30 years;
• discharge summaries: at least 50 years;
• diagnostic images: 10 years; and
• contact details: until consent is withdrawn.

Healthcare services cannot be provided without the necessary data.

6. Invoicing

An invoice is issued for the services provided.

Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation. Data processed: name, address, invoicing details and services received. Retention period: eight years from the date of issue.

7. Transfer of data to the EESZT

Presidentist Fogászati Kft. is required by law to transfer health data to Hungary’s Electronic Health Cooperation Service Space (EESZT).

Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation. Data processed: identification and health data. Retention period: in accordance with the general rules applicable to medical documentation.

The transfer cannot be refused; however, patients may manage access to their data through an EESZT digital self-determination declaration.

8. Complaints management

Complaints are investigated and recorded. Data processed includes information relating to the complainant and patient, together with information connected with the complaint. Complaint records are retained for five years.

9. External service providers

Presidentist Fogászati Kft. may work with external healthcare providers and laboratories. The legal basis for the transfer is the patient’s consent. Data transferred may include identification data, the patient’s Hungarian social security number (TAJ) and the type of service requested. The recipient processes the data as an independent controller in accordance with applicable law.

10. Transfer to the Central Implant Registry

Certain information is transferred to the Central Implant Registry in accordance with a statutory obligation. The data is retained for 50 years from the date of the most recent transfer.

11. Data processors

Presidentist Fogászati Kft. uses the following processors:

• Frivalszky és Társa Kft. – accounting;
• Árpád Balázs Aknai, sole trader – IT services; and
• Flexi Medical Cloud Zrt. – dental practice software.

Contracts with these partners provide for appropriate protection of personal data. In certain cases, the law may require mandatory disclosure, for example for epidemiological reasons.

12. Rights of data subjects

Patients have the right to:

• access their personal data;
• request rectification;
• request erasure, subject to statutory limitations;
• request restriction of processing; and
• object to processing.

Certain rights may be restricted by legal obligations, including mandatory retention periods. The company will respond to requests within no more than 30 days.
